Caladiums

My caladiums have holes in the leaves. Could it be some sort of insect, and what can I do about it?

Are the whole leaves disappearing or falling off in addition to the holes in the leaves? Are the holes on the edges or in the center? Please let us know. This will help us identify your pest.
