If you cannot plant outdoors, you can normally store the bulbs in the pot or remove them and allow them to dry out for a few days. Then you can wrap the bulbs in newspaper and store in a cool, dry location until ready for planting outside. If left in the pot, keeping the plant inside in a warm sunny location may wake them from dormancy where they may be cared for as a houseplant until placing outside over summer.
