Q.Cabbage

Zone 83450 | Danny4546 added on July 10, 2016 | Answered

My cabbage was planted two months ago and the leaves are very large and look beautiful and no sign of pests or disease but they have no head forming. The leaves are very dark green and I water twice a day and I feed them once a week with miracle grow. This is my first time growing cabbage so how long should it take to form a head?

Thank you so much Daniel Draper

Cabbage does take quite a long time to come to head. Typically the beginning of fall is when the head will develop.
