What should be done with potted bushes in winter?

You can cut the plants back after they have gone dormant.
Store them in a shed or garage; somewhere that the temperatures will stay steady through the winter months.
Check the soil periodically to make sure the soil does not dry out completely. Adding a bit of water if the soil is cracking.
