Q.Butterfly Bush

Anonymous added on January 2, 2014 | Answered

I live in southeast Kentucky and the ice and snow that we received earlier broke my butterfly bush off close to the ground. Will the bush survive? Is there anything that I can do? Thanks.

These plants recover quite well from drastic pruning and should regrow from the roots. It will likely not be as big as it was last year, but should grow back to near its original size by the end of the summer.
