Q.Burning Bush Leaves Are Turning Snow White This Year. WHY?
My burning bush has turned red every year (15+ years) this year, only a few leaves on the end of the limbs are red and the rest are turning snow white and spreading from the proximal limb outwards. Nothing has changed in it’s location or in the surrounding area.

There are some possibilities. Are the veins of the leaves still green? If so, there is a nutrient deficiency or the pH has increased or decreased causing an inability of the plant to take up nutrients. A soil test will help. If it has been unusually dry lately, the leaves could be suffering from leaf scorch. They will drop and should return next spring. Another scenario could be herbicide damage if something was sprayed nearby and drift occurred. If you think that is the case, and it was sprayed recently, flood the plant with water.
Burning bush is generally not recommended anymore. It has become invasive in some areas, displacing native vegetation.
