Burlap bag on roots

Do I need to remove wire holding the burlap on my tree roots?

Cut and remove the wire and string from the burlap ball.

On small root balls, remove the burlap but do not disturb the soil around the roots.
For larger root balls it is recommend you remove all wire and string and the top 1/3 of the burlap.
I also recommend cutting open the bottom with a large x cut and open up the bottom of the burlap wrap.
