Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a 5-6 year old Brown Turkey fig, which seems very healthy but when it fruits they never get to ripening stage, just 1 or 2 figs may reach maturity. My question is, I wonder if any of the many branches could be ones that have come from below the graft. I never noticed this and now I can’t get below the root of the tree to actually see, as it is so tight. Would it make a difference to the fruiting? I intend to give it some liquid lime this year, as perhaps it is lacking. I so love this fig, as I adore homemade fig jam. If you have any advice, I would be very grateful.
