brown spot on leaf of prayer plant

Can I trim the brown spot on the edge of the leaf? Sorry, I don’t have any photos.

If the edges of your plant are turning brown dark, it can be due to build up of salts in the soil from conditioned water.
Try using distilled water to water your plant. You can also let tap water set on the counter for at least 48 hours before using.

You can trim the plant edges, but it may continue to turn brown until the salts are flushed from the plant.
