Brown Splotches on Peppers

I have red and green bell peppers that have developed brown spots on the fruit. I have them planted inside pots with the bottoms cut out in my garden. I water every morning. Is that too much? What could be causing these brown spots?

It sounds like your peppers have developed sunscald. This is a result of too much sun on the fruit. We recommend shading the pepper plant with a translucent cloth cover. Here is an article on other common pepper problems: [1]
