Brown On Edge Of Plants

I have a large Ginger plant and an Anthurium that have brown edges on the end of some of their leaves. They are outside under a tree in partial sun/shade. Most of the leaves are green and they look happy and healthy. I bought them about 6 months ago as ‘leftovers’ for 75% off because they were not in perfect condition. The new growth is green and hasn’t turned brown yet.

This is probably due to poor care that it recieved before you bought it. If the new leaves look healthy, then you have nothing to worry about. You can trim off the brown spots and edges if you would like for aesthetic reasons, but it is not necessary.
