Brown Leaves on Tips of Stromanthe

What is causing this problem (leaves turning brown on tips of stromanthe)? Should I cut off the brown tips? Live in midwest and really love the plant. We do get a lot of humidity in Ohio. Right now it’s in a pot in garden. Any help with this problem would be great.
