Brown Edges on Strawberry Plants

Anonymous added on July 5, 2012 | Answered

My strawberry plants have brown edges on the leaves. The brown edges spread to the whole leaf and drop off. The fruit is small and mushy. What can I do?

Generally, browning of leaves is a stress-related issue. This article should help with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/environmental/what-causes-brown-edges-on-leaves-of-plant.htm

Check the plant for pests. It could also be fungal related. Try treating the plant with neem oil, which should take care of both of these issues and is safe to use.
