Q.Bromeliads care and pruning.

Zone Hendersonville, NC | KarolReed added on July 5, 2017 | Answered

The red center of my bromeliad died and turned brown. After watering and watching I finally cut the dead center out, the cut edges are brown now . Will that part grow. Back. The rest of the plant seems healthy. Thank you!

Once a Bromeliad has finished blooming it's life cycle is over.
You can remove the flower and hopefully your plant will produce a pup.
