Broccoli Plants

Broccoli Head Issue

Anonymous added on September 20, 2013 | Answered

This year I had all my broccoli plants develop heads with lots of leaves pushing up between the individual flower clumps - to the point that I did not get any normal broccoli heads. Same thing with the side sprouts - although there were very few of these. Essentially, I lost my crop. My father has a garden near mine and had the same thing. What is going on? Is there a fix?
