Q.bringing plants indoors for winter

Zone 02892 | shirleymmckenna added on November 2, 2016 | Answered

I have a tropical trumpet vine, which grew well outside all summer. When I took the plant indoors for the winter, it appears it’s not producing flowers or growing.

It is common for plants to stop flowering and growing when brought indoors because of the lower light levels indoors compared to outdoors. Don't worry, your plant will begin growing again when it is brought outside after the winter.
