Spraying your plants down with a hose is a good way to get rid of bugs. If this isn’t enough, neem oil is a good general insecticide that targets many types of insects.

I am not sure about the snakes, since there is no chemical you can spray to kill snakes. Sulfur is supposed to be a snake repellent, but I don’t know how effective it is. Visually checking your plants is likely the best option.
