Q.Bought A Nice Roman Chamomile In A Pot, Transplanted To A Raised Bed.

Zone Vista, CA 92084 | Anonymous added on July 7, 2022 | Answered

It appears to be rotting out from the inside. I put some bug granules around it as I have roly polies around. It’s still drying up, turning brown and falling apart from the inside. What do I do? It has a good amount of sun until late afternoon, well draining soil and I water around it, not ON it. HELP.

A couple of possibilities come to mind. Is it possibly getting too much heat from the sun? Could it be overwatered? Too much water will cause the same problems as too little water, as the roots become unable to take up the moisture properly. Here's an article I hope will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/chamomile/growing-chamomile.htm
