Q.Both White (light Green) And Dark Green Acorn Squash Are On The Same Plants. Why?
I planted two hills of acorn squash seeds from Burpee in full sun and the plants are healthy and growing in full sun with no signs of disease. However, even from the same plants, some of the same size squash are light green (nearly white) and some are the usual dark green. What’s up?

The fruit will not all ripen at the same time. You can harvest them as they are ready, but leave the unripened ones on the vine to continue ripening. Also be sure to fertilize regularly. Here is more:
