I want to plant Mexican hawthorne and/or monkey grass as a border around my flowerbeds. How many plants per square foot for a lush looking border immediately?

This can depend on the cultivator or variety that you plant, but I would recommend an approximate spacing of 12 inches apart for a more full look right away.
