Borage and lime

Does borage like lime? Two of my plants got clubroot so I thought I would lime the area and then plant borage there. Is that feasible?

Since borage grows is a wide range of soil pH, it should be able to adapt to the lime in the soil. Here’s an article on growing borage: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/borage/borage-herb.htm [1]
