Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comThe leaves on my BOP are turning brown and dying. The plants continue to grow new leaves but about a week later they will start turning brown too. The brown spots are dry, doesn’t feel sticky at all. I have inspected the plants multiple times but haven’t seen any insects. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong?
Thanks!

Make sure they are adequately watering. If these are new plantings they will need regular irrigation to develop a deep tap root.
Bird of Paradise do need full sunlight to bloom, but in warm climates direct sun can also scorch the plants.
Mulch with 3 to 4 inches of good mulch to help with moisture levels.
Excess insecticide treatment can also burn the leaves.
