If the orchid is losing all of the blossoms after they have opened, this is normal. As for encouraging new growth and blooms, it can be a bit tricky with orchids, but can be done. This article will help with that:

If the blossomes are dropping before they open, this is a sign that the plant is not getting enough water. Either water or mist the roots more frequently.
