Blossom tree

Question

Hi I have a blossom tree can’t remember the correct name of it, my husband bought it for me for my birthday six years ago,
I have trimmed the tree and cut some branches, my husband was furious said I have killed it, I did Google how to do it, I hope I haven’t killed it because it is a beautiful tree, sent you couple of pictures please reply back.

We cannot identify this tree from the image. Can you post a picture or describe the flower?
Can you identify the growing zone?
A close up of the leaves would also be helpful.
