Blossom End Rot on Tomatoes

I have beautiful tomato plants loaded with tomatoes, but they have blossom end rot. I understand this could be caused from lack of calcium. What is the best way to apply the calicum to the plants at this stage of growth? Any other suggestions?

Even watering can help, so mulch the plants to keep the water even. Many times it is not so much that the soil lacks calcium, but that the plant can’t take it up in the right amounts. This article has some other suggestions on helping your plant be able to more efficiently take up the calcium:
