Blooming Female Sago Palm

I have a 17-year-old female Sago Palm that has bloomed. The bloom has been there for about two or three months. I do not have a male Sago to pollinate this palm. What should I do with the bloom? Should I remove it or allow it to fall off itself?

Normally it is best to let it fall off itself. The reason being is that cutting the sago can open it up to disease unnecessarily. It won’t harm the plant to leave it, so you might as well leave it.
