Gardenia Blooms

How long is it supposed to take a gardenia flower to bloom? I have had a gardenia bush for two weeks now and the buds have not blossomed. Is that the way it’s supposed to be? I also have many new bloosoms coming in. So why won’t they bloom?

It may need more light or warmer temps to bloom faster. Try putting it in a brighter window.
