Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHello, my hydrangea plants ( I believe they are the Big Leaf variety), have not bloomed for the past 3 years. They have dry, long woody sticks scattered throughout, yet they are healthy appearing plants with large beautiful green leaves! I have added Bone meal to the soil this year for the first time in the hopes that a flower will appear. I fear they were improperly pruned a few years back. Should I just dig them out and start with new plants? Is there hope? I did read the information posted on this website but did not see a reference to the dry, woody sticks. So I wanted to send this for your review.
Thank you for your help with this.
