bleach in ground after infected tomato and eggplant plans have been removed?

I believe my tomatoes hve had vemiculum, not 100% sure, but an eggplant next to it also had beginnings of the same so I will take it out. But what can I do after digging both out and hopefully getting the roots? I keep thinking of bleach.
