Bleach cleaner on hibiscus, leaves yellowing & falling off

My neighbor had her awnings power washed with a bleach cleaner sprayed on my hibiscus . Leaves and yellowing and falling off … can it be saved?

Yellowing leaves are common on Hibiscus, but bleach certainly can kill off leaves and even entire plants. If the soil can be washed with water to flush it from the soil, I would do that. You will just need to trim away dead plant material as it appears and wait out the damage.
