Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy thornless blackberries (2) died this spring from what looks like a fungus or gall on the root. The canes just did not leaf and seemed to dry up. I removed them and the root and burned them. Now two months later I have small shoots coming up (4 – I must have missed some root). Should I dig these up and transplant in a different spot, and how do I keep them from getting this fungus like the originals did? Originals were three years old and produced berries the last two. Any suggestions?
