Q.Blackberry Flowered Too Early, What Can I Do?
It is autumn (fall) here in NZ and I have pruned the canes that flowered this year already. The new canes that didn’t flower this year, that would be due to flower and fruit next season, have already put out some flowers and started forming small fruit. I have cut them off, since we are going into winter. But will this mean those canes won’t flower in spring now? Is there anything I can do to ensure they will definitely flower next season? I think this happened because it is unseasonally warm…

They should still produce because if they received winter injury you would trim that off. They will form laterals in spring that will bear the fruit.
There is a type of raspberry that bears fruit each year only on primocanes. Those are the primocane producing cultivars. They bear till frost. You cut them back and the next season they produce primocanes again that bear fruit.
