Are the leaves from the Black Walnut tree toxic in my flower beds?

The leaves certainly can cause issues or even kill some plant material.
It is best to clean up the leaves and dispose of. If one or two leaves fall into the flower beds, it should not be an issue. A cleanup in the fall after the leaves have dropped is generally a good idea.
