Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI am not sure why I am having this black stuff on the plants, and I have cut the two branches off of the Ixora Maui. I can’t find any information on why this is happening.

Unfortunately, you photo did not come through. I am unable to see the damage.
My best guess without seeing the damage will be a fungal infection. Fungicides will be necessary should this be the case.
