Black Spots/Areas on Crepe Myrtle Shrubs

My two crepe myrtle shrubs have black spots/areas on their leaves. What product do I need to get rid of the black spots/areas? Do crepe mrytle shrubs like lots of water? Mine receive a good six hours of sun daily; I water when it’s dry. The shrubs were planted a year ago and have bloomed.

It is likely a fungus called black spot. It is common on roses but can affect other plants. This article will help:
