black spot on fig leaves

Question

I have noticed in the last week that both my fig trees have black spots on their leaves. They also have “rusty” edges to some of the leaves. Also, they are in large pots. They have fruited well for the last two or three years. Please any help with these problems would be appreciated.

It is likely a fungus. Treat the tree with a fungicide.
