Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comPurchased a yellow primrose from supermarket 3 weeks ago, all fine, on sunny windowsill but last week or so tiny tiny black specks appeared on some of the petals, the leaves are a bit spotty and holey, but sticky!

Stickiness usually indicates honeydew, which is produced by insects such as scale and aphids. Treat your plant with Neem oil and see if that helps.
