Black Sooty Mold

Both of my crepe myrtles are getting black mold. Is it ok with this 100 degree temps to use Consen Triple Action 20? I live in League City, Texas.

I would apply this in the evening after you have watered the tree well. In general, when applying anything to a plant, it is best not to do so in the high heat as this may cause the plant to absorb too much of it, which can kill some plants.

Applying during the cooler part of the day, after the tree has had a good drink will slow down how quickly it absorbs anything applied to it and will reduce the chances of unwanted harm coming to the tree.
