Black Soot/Mildew Removal From Gardenias

Ecurb77 added on December 11, 2011 | Answered

The two gardenia trees [perhaps overgrown bushes] are in southwest Florida. Proper nutrition [past] is not likely. On a going forward basis, is Miracle-Gro for acid loving plants satisfactory? Also looking for a home receipe for mold/soot removal. Thanks for the help!
