black on Salvia Splendens leaves

Zone Ulster Park, NY, 12487 | Anonymous added on May 30, 2019 | Answered

My purple salvia splendens are seemingly dying. the plants are quite small (no blooms yet) and the leaves are all turning black and shriveling. do you know what this is and how it can be remedied? I'm including a picture of the kind of salvia
