Q.Black leaves on ivy plant

Zone 12061 | Anonymous added on May 3, 2017 | Answered

I know the black leaves mean the plant is over watered but my ivy still looks like it’s drying out and leaves are falling off. How do I make plant healthy again?

Your Ivy plant likes to grow in bright light and the soil should dry slightly between watering.

If the plant is overwatered and the roots sit it water, root rot will take place.

Check the soil before watering, instead of watering on a schedule.

I see new growth on your Ivy, so trim away the dead material and let the soil dry out.
