Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI bought a bird’s nest fern that has some distorted fronds. There are a couple that are twisted and two that are horizontally cracked about 2/3 up from the pot. My guess is that it was not packed well by the shipper or mishandled. Should I cut them off at the bottom? I can’t imagine that either the twists or cracks will self heal.

No, leaf damage will not heal.
Give the plant time to acclimate and wait until you have active growth before trimming any damaged leaves.
