Bird of Paradise-Replanting

 My12 ft plant fell and broke. We cut to about 10 foot and want to replant. How do we go about it?

Replant in similar location and at the same depth (in well-draining soil) as it was previously planted and water thoroughly. Give it bright, indirect light until it re-establishes itself, then you can gradulally provide more light.
