Q.Bird of Paradise Flower

Anonymous added on June 13, 2011 | Answered

I have a Bird of Paradise plant in my garden (I live in NZ). It seems quite healthy, but as each new leaf appears, it starts to curl and turn brown at the edges. It has never flowered, but it is less than 4 years old, which I believe is the age they first flower. I have moved the plant but the new leaves still curl and turn brown.

It is probably dry or stressed and needs to be watered. You can cut away the brown leaves.
