Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have moved my potted Bing cherry trees indoors for the winter, they have indirect light. I thought they were dormant for the winter, but now one has lots of leaves and the other doesn’t. Is the one that has no leaved dead? I live in Kansas

The tree with no leaves is probably still alive, but here’s how to check:

The best thing to do is just wait until spring and see if it grows leaves again. Just make sure the trees are provided with a bit of water but not too much, so that the soil is not bone dry but is not overly wet either.
