Best Way To Kill Mint

Question

I planted mint to take up space alongside my house, but now I’m getting ants in the house because they are attracted to the mind. I totally want to kill it and keep it from coming back suggestions?

Boiling water works pretty well. You'll have to do this for several days until nothing else comes up. I'd go outside of the area with treatment, too. As you may have noticed, this spreads quickly.
