Best Shrub Choice

I have a low area in my front yard that’s at the corner of my driveway and sidewalk. I wish to plant shrubs in this area; however, the area collects water when it rains. What shrub choice is best for an area like this?

There is a shrub that is called a Japanese willow. It likes wet areas and would work well there.
