Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHow do I maintain my Bermuda grass green at the lowest cut level? It doesn’t get as green when I cut it low, however, I would like to lower my mower height from 5 to about 3. Kind of like the lenth of grass blades on a football field.

3 should be ok for Bermuda. Any lower than that, and you will definitely start to see damage. The first time you cut it short will almost always damage it. The trick is to keep it maintained short. When it gets tall it tends to lose vigor down at the bottom, so cutting it short almost “resets” it. If you keep it maintained short, then it will stay green after the cut.
