Q.Begonia Cuttings Trailing and Nonstop

Anonymous added on September 1, 2011 | Answered

I have some trailing and nonstop begonias, both prolific flowerers, but are now looking a bit straggly. Do Ii need to overwinter these before taking cuttings, or is it possible to do them now? Please also tell me the safest and easiest method of doing this.

Most cuttings are taken in spring but plants can also be divided while dormant. For tips on overwintering, here is an article that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/begonia/wintering-begonias-overwintering-a-begonia-in-cold-climates.htm
