Beginning Gardener, Need Help Please

My husband and I would like to begin seeds in our basement this winter, and to also start some sort of indoor greenhouse type area in our basement. We have a large open area with two wndows. I am wondering if you could please provide some sites that would be helpful to us beginners? Thank you.

there is tone of stuff you could grow like sage, basil, cucumbers, are all easy seeds oregano, and mint need yto be misted when watered because the seeds are so small but they are very easy once you get them going.
